Peptides as affinity ligands for purification

One internal focus of COSMIX has been the development of specific, high-affinity peptide binders against blood plasma protein and vaccine targets to be used both, as purification reagents and as detection reagents to monitor the production process.

The most advanced programs in this area are peptides capable to bind to blood plasma proteins like Factor VIII, Factor IX and alpha-Antitrypsin.
